Auchan Kecskemét Shopping Center

The building was originally designed by CET Budapest Architects for the developers, TRIGRANIT Holding. When Auchan acquired it parts of the building were derelict (partly because of the double corridor layout) only the hypermarket areas were flourishing. All areas except the hypermarket were open to be redesigned. We created a new, clear streamlined mall layout as well as a new link to the enlarged car park ont he back of the building. The focal point of the layout is a new food-court. There are roof-lights along the whole area of the mall and this has a considerable effect in the reduction of overhead charges. The new Electronics store, the complete new mall, the new entrance and the enlarged car park hev been built, sadly the construction of the proposed new main entrance have been postponed because of financial reasons.
