The extremely narrow building plot is located on the Danube shore endangered with occassional flooding. The risk of flooding was the reason the building is raised from the surrounding ground.
The form of the house and its timber siding resembles the world of the old boat houses in the area.
A beautiful panorama is revealed from the terraces through the trees of the flood-basin.
A small patio links the narrow living area to the side-garden, providing an intimate inside-outside transition zone.
