Kindergarten at Remetekertváros

A small kindergarten for 75 children (3 groups), built on a steep hillside in the II/a district of Budapest. The children approach the building via a bridge and immediately after entering they descend a full floor on a long ramp to the main level. All three groups have their own terraces with direct connection to the steep garden. The rather large lobby doubles as a dinning hall during the day, so the kids do not have to pack up everything before lunch… Neigbours were against the idea of a kindergarten in this quiet street, but it is now loved by many in the area.
