Open-air Stage at Margaret Island

The new single span canopy is set among strong architectural landmarks, such as the fan-tail amphiteatre, the 102 year old water-tower (a listed building), and the circular entrance area.

The enlarged stage area is covered with a 48m span canvas awning while the stage lighting and technical bridge is on an independent steel structure under it. This solution is the largest thin and airy cover in the country which also has a strong relationship with the surrounding nature.
